1. Raveena Tandon
Raveena Tandon has two adopted daughters, Chhaya and Pooja at her was just 21 years old. While the two girls Chhaya and Pooja were then 8 and 11, respectively. Raveena once said in an interview “They are a distant cousin’s children. Due to certain circumstances in their family, they needed someone to love and take care of them. Both have been a part of my life ever since. I have never hidden anything from them.”
2. Salim Khan
The renowned scriptwriter Salim Khan adopted Arpita after getting married to Helen. Arpita is the most loved daughter of her family, everyone accepted her with open arms and hearts. She is married now and also has a baby boy now.
3. Sushmita Sen
Former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen was just 25-years-old when she adopted her daughter Renee. And afterthat she adopt another girl child, Alisha. Here is what Sushmita said in an interview, “Being Renee’s mother is the most amazing and fulfilling experience of my life. I know how clichéd that sounds, but it’s true. I have evolved as a person, and Renee has evolved in tandem with me.”
4. Mithun Chakraborty
Dancing star Mithun Chakraborty found a baby girl in a garbage bin, and he adopted her. He has three sons, Namashi, Rimoh and Mimoh and he adopted Dishani.
5. Sameer Soni and Neelam Kothari
Neelam and Samir tied the knot in 2011 and in 2013, after two years of their marriage, the couple adopted Ahana. Both says in an interview “The moment she entered the room, she looked at us and flashed her million-dollar smile. That was enough for us to bring her home.”
6. Kunal Kohli
The “Hum Tum” director Kunal Kohli and his wife Raveena adopted daughter Radha together.
7. Subhash Ghai
The “Khalnayak” director Subhash Ghai and his wife Rehana brought Meghna into his home when she was just a little baby girl.
Currently, Meghna handles the production company and acting school.
8. Nikhil Advani
The ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’ director Nikhil Advani and his wife Suporna adopted his daughter Keya when she was four years old in 2006.

The “Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!” director Dibakar Banerjee also adopted a baby girl from a Mumbai based orphanage and is raising his daughter with his wife Richa.
South Indian actress and Bharatanatyam dancer Shobhana adopted a daughter in 2010. She named her Anantha Narayani. She also performed the annaprasana for her at the famous Guruvayur temple in Kerala.
11. Sunny Leone
Bollywood Actor Sunny Leone and her husband Daniel Weber adopted a girl child Nisha from Latur in Maharashtra.
12. Preity Zinta
Indian actress Preity Zinta has adopted 34 orphaned girls from the Mother Miracle School in Hrishikesh. Once Preity says “Yes. I have adopted them and will be completely looking after their education, food, clothes etc. It`s an amazing feeling to be part of their lives. I’m going to make it a point to visit them at least twice a year. They are my children, my responsibility now.”
