Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput killed himself on 14th June 2020. The talented actor, who first made a mark with his television serial Pavitra Rishta, made his name as a stellar performer in the film industry as well. He made his debut with 2013’s “Kai Po Che” and through his seven-year-long career in Bollywood, impressed the audience and critics alike.

It is the story of three friends and is based in the city of Ahmedabad. The plot sees a young boy in Ahmedabad named Govind dream of starting a business.

Shuddh Desi Romance – 2013

Sushant Singh Rajput (Raghu Ram) is a tourist guide in Jaipur, who also doubles up as rental baraati for Goyal (Rishi Kapoor), a wedding planner. Raghu is suffering from pre-marital jitters. On his way to his wedding venue, Raghu meets Gayatri (Parineeti Chopra), an open minded, free willed, independent woman who lives life on her own terms. An already confused Raghu, heavily impressed by her freedom, gathers the guts to run away from his own wedding.

P.K – 2014

Though the film starred Aamir Khan in the lead role, Sushant Singh Rajput’s cameo appearance as Sarfaraz Yousuf won him a lot of praise. His star crossed love story with Anushka Sharma’s character lent the film an emotional touch.

Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! – 2015

Sonchiriya – 2019

This is the story of a group of rebels in Chambal. The year is 1975. The Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi, has declared Emergency in the country. Man Singh (Manoj Bajpayee) meanwhile leads a gang in Chambal, a region that more or less is lawless. Vakil Singh (Ranvir Shorey) and Lakhna (Sushant Singh Rajput) are important members of this gang. Man Singh is in need of money to procure new arms.

Chhichhore – 2019

CHHICHHORE is the story of ‘loser’ friends trying to become winners and learning some important lessons on the way. Annirudh Pathak aka Anni (Sushant Singh Rajput) is a middle-aged man residing in Mumbai with his son Raghav (Mohammad Samad) after divorcing his wife Maya (Shraddha Kapoor).

Drive – 2019

Vibha Singh is a corrupt bureaucrat in the Accounts Department of the Government who pushes many of her clients into giving her “percentages” of their money which may either have been stolen or confiscated. The movie was released on Netflix in 2019, produced by Dharma Productions and directed by Tarun Mansukhani.

Sushant was known for his acclaimed performances in films such as MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, Sonchiriya, Kai Po Che, Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!, among others.
