How To Manage Diabetes: It’s a fact that India has the largest number of patients with diabetes in the world. People suffering from this type of diabetes can be treated by giving a balanced diet, regular exercise and medicines or by giving insulin. Type 2 diabetes is related to wrong lifestyle and gene-related factors.

  • You are over 40 years old.

  • Eat 20 grams of fiber every day. Like vegetables, whole pulse, whole fruits etc.
  • Do not consume refined flour and avoid sweet foods.
  • Exercise for 30 minutes every day.
  • Take medicines and insulin on time.
  • Get the glucose level checked.
  • Identify the symptoms of low or high glucose levels.
  • If you are overweight, lose weight. Obesity further aggravates diabetes complications.
