Good Newwz Review: Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh’s film ‘Good News’ is ready for release. It is being told that the film will entertain the audience with the dose of entertainment. Directed by Raj Mehta, ‘Good News’ is a box of full laughs. You will not find anywhere in the story where you will find yourself bored.
Story Varun Batra (Akshay Kumar) and Deepti Batra (Kareena Kapoor) are an upper-middle-class couple from Mumbai. Even after seven years of marriage, both are stuck in the struggle of becoming parents. Deepti Batra is very worried about her pregnancy and tries every hard thing. But nothing is achieved. In such a situation, the couple decides to adopt IVF. On the other hand, there are Honey Batra (Diljit Dosanjh) and Monica Batra (Kiara Advani). This couple from Chandigarh is also worried about pregnancy. When they come to know about IVF, they decide to adopt it.
Both couples go to Dr. Joshi (Adil Hussain) and his wife (Tisca Chopra) and plan to adopt IVF treatment. Because the surnames of both are the same, the sperm of Honey Batra in Dipti and Varun Batra in Monica is injected. By mistake. They both get upset when they come to know about it. Then comes a twist in the film. Honey and Monica Batra are very loud couples of Chandigarh. At the same time, Varun and Dipti are quite calm. Honey and Monica go to Mumbai and take home in the same building where Varun and Deepti live. In such a situation, more strange things happen between the two and the audience gets a chance to tickle.
Director Raj Mehta has kept the film very crisp and not drawn. There is a lot of comedy touch from the beginning to the end of the film. ‘Good News’ does not turn into bad news anywhere.
Acting: matter if acting in ‘good news’ in the Akshay Kumar plays Varun quite well. They support Kareena Kapoor or Dipti irrespective of the society and prefer to stand shoulder to shoulder with them in every happiness and sorrow. Which is a great compliment. Both are quite frozen in the film as couple. At the same time, the indigenous characters of Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani fill many colors as soon as they come on screen. The dialog is such that you will believe in laughing cool. All the stars have won hearts in terms of acting.
Music: The music of the film is quite impressive. The song’s beats are quite dull. The comedy has a strong temper with the finished story. IVF is an issue on which a film is made for the first time and has been presented on screen in a very brilliant way. The director tells the story in a very simple way. In such a situation, ‘Good News’ is a fully entertained film.
